https://lintinghsin.com TingHsin Lin Thu, 28 May 2020 18:28:30 +0000 https://lintinghsin.com en https://lintinghsin.com/Homepage Sat, 07 Sep 2019 13:34:38 +0000 TingHsin Lin https://lintinghsin.com/Homepage https://lintinghsin.com/Therapeutic-Shapes Thu, 28 May 2020 18:28:30 +0000 TingHsin Lin https://lintinghsin.com/Therapeutic-Shapes Self-initiated project experimenting with visual elements that imbue calmness in the uncertain time of Covid-19 Therapeutic Shapes &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Visual Experiment Intuitive Graphic Inspired by the artist Amber Vittoria’s intuitive illustrations, I manipulate a set of colourful feathered shapes that reflect my current state of mind, trying to loose rigid thoughts and incubating calmer and kinder inner talks during the uncertain period of the pandemic and release emotions stuck in my body.&nbsp; The process is similar to working with clay, using only the bezier tool to adjust the shapes by pulling and pressing, twisting and turning an organic form, injecting energy in the actions and constantly interacting with the changing shapes until feeling a sense of freedom in the “flow". However, its unique core of homemade artisan technique has set it apart from other commercial pan bread and rolls. The design concept focuses on the experience of “ waiting patiently for bread made with love”. The human tone of voice is reflected in the illustrative logo design as well as on the storefront with handmade special bread lightbox signage, in which adding more characteristics to this independent
